I haven't posted in a while. Life happened. Still happening though. Today, I'm going to share a bit of my life with you. Some say social media isn't the place to air your personal life, really??? No more privacy any where abeg. Your picture, your name, is already splashed on Facebook, Twitter and what have you so what else is there?
I agree there are some details we need to keep locked up but hey! Why spoil the fun? Join in and spill a little..just a tiny tinny bit to keep us more interested in your everyday life.
So here is mine, I have been married for five years. This September is my wedding anniversary, Yippee! I'm self employed though involved in some NGO duties.., I'm the first daughter . I and the Mr are still expecting our bundle of Joy..i want twins!!!!
In between, I'm having fun setting up my home, being active in Church ( I'm catholic, the Mr is Methodist but we attend Living Faith Church for now) long story for another day.
In case you are wondering, Omena is my native Urhobo name, it means, " This is mine" Urhobo is a major tribe in Delta State, my mum hails from there, thus the name. And I love it!
That's it! Not much details but enough for now abeg. Lest what happened in 1914 repeat itself again. LOL
The preparation for Ileya (Sallah) is here again so the hustle is on for Ram meat. I prefer mine roasted..hmmm..yum! As a Christian, I celebrate with my Muslim pals..got a hand few of them. Nice people and I love them. Still drafting my list for Sallah shopping and bet you, at least Goat meat must be present in it. Tomorrow is the D day for market runs and trust me, it's going to be a tug of war amongst the vendors in the market place..all jostling for customers at the top of their lungs. The pushing and foot dragging no be here oh. Anyways, yours truly is ready.
I promise to write about my market experience and spoils of the war tomorrow, I won't be lazy, I promise. I promise. Oh.how I love that word "Promise"
